Cloudwater 11th Birthday QIPA | QIPA

A birthday calls for a QIPA! Nothing suits us better than a bold, explosive beer, and we pulled out all the stops for this birthday QIPA. Brewing beer at this alcohol level always creates a base of ethanol sweetness, so we used Clean Fusion™, developed by our friends at One Drop, to clarify the beer and extract every last drop of flavor from the hops.

We blended Idaho 7, Motueka, Citra Cryo, Strata CGX, and Mosaic to create a fruity and spicy flavor profile. Fresh melon, white grape, and a hint of Chinese green tea are layered with a subtle touch of black pepper, perfectly combined with a tropical lychee flavor, keeping the bitterness and sweetness in this boozy beast in perfect balance.
