Duvel Citra | Tripel

The Duvel Tripel Hop Citra is a Belgian IPA with a beautifully balanced bitterness as you have come to expect from Duvel. 'Cashmere' is the result of crossing a female 'Citra' hop plant with a male 'Northern Brewer' hop plant.

For this Duvel Tripel Hop, we use the aroma hop Citra as the third hop variety. This hop, grown in the Yakima Valley in Washington, enriches Duvel’s flavor palette with fresh notes of coconut, citrus, peach, and melon.

To brew Duvel Tripel Hop, the brewers do not just add a third hop; they use the dry-hopping technique. This brewing technique involves adding extra hops not only during the boiling process but also at a later stage of the brewing process (during the maturation process).
