Kees Mad About Hops | IPA

Mad About Hops HBC 630 is a wonderfully fresh Single Hop IPA with 7% alcohol, in which the hops provide a rich aromatic palette. You can recognize tropical fruit, pine, citrus, and even red fruit such as raspberry and cherry in it.

This is already the third edition of our Mad About Hops series. For this Single Hop IPA, we have chosen the experimental hop variety HBC 630. The hop comes from the Hop Breeding Company (HBC), a partnership between John I. Haas and Yakima Chief Ranches, two large American hop growers. HBC strives to develop new hop varieties.

Before a new hop variety is officially released on the market, selected brewers can already taste this hop. The provisional name for such a hop begins with the abbreviation HBC, followed by a number. When this hop is officially released, it receives its final name. We are very charmed by this hop, so we expect to see it on the market in the future, but with a fitting name.

Just like its predecessors, this beer comes in a nice large 44 cl can. Ideal to enjoy on your own, or to share.
