Brewed in memory of Ron – our colleague, friend, and buddy – whose favorite beers always leaned heavily toward smoke and peat. This beer is for him.

The scent of campfire smoke, sweet peat, and dark malt rises directly from the glass.

This barrel-aged stout combines French oak (which previously held Kilchoman peated whisky) with American oak, creating a layered, smoky depth. The French oak provides dry spice, smoky tannins, and charred wood, while the American oak adds notes of vanilla, caramel, and the sticky sweetness of peat. Underneath lies a rich malt base of Munich malt, rye malt, and brown malt, which ties everything together with warmth and body.
