In the heart of the Black Forest, a beer was once brewed in Rothaus that was even served at the table of Grand Duke Frederick I of Baden.
The Baden state brewery Rothaus AG, founded in 1791, was already known for its purity and brewing expertise. When the Grand Duke entertained his guests, Rothaus Tafelbier was served – a light lager, as was customary at the time: mild, easy-drinking, and refreshing, with a subtle hop aroma and a soft malt sweetness. It was a beer that did not overpower, but rather served as a calm companion, fitting perfectly with enjoying food, conversation, and special moments.
Whether at the table with friends, during a cozy gathering, or in a quiet moment of reflection – Tannenzäpfle Tafelbier brings a piece of Baden history back to the table. Those who taste it experience a distinctive flavor: mild, easy-drinking, and refreshing.
