Schramm's Red Agnes is more finely balanced and noticeably less sweet than its Scottish cousin, Black Agnes. Red currants provide deep floral aromas, a fruitier first impression, more concentrated acidity, and a beautiful cardinal-like hue. Lighter and smoother to drink than Black Agnes, this mead is dangerously drinkable, with a delicately balanced acidity that allows the honey and fruit to sing together in harmony.
