St-Feuillien Quadruple is a very dark and full-bodied beer. The alcohol percentage is clearly noticeable. The beer is distinguished by a complex and delicately caramelized aroma with nuances of Madeira wine and candied fruit, and an intense touch of yeast esters (banana-like). A light hop scent (English style) completes the whole. The finish is long with a powerful body, built on the density and the generous extract content. The bitterness is present, but sweet and harmoniously balanced with the malt structure. The selection of special malts enhances the chocolate flavor with nuances of coconut. The carbonation is medium.
